The producers of the well-received NH10, Eros International and Phantom are already planning a sequel called NH12. But director Navdeep Singh has already moved on and is not attached to the sequel. Anushka Sharma, who co-produced NH10, will also have no part in it.

Singh, after two dark films Manorama Six Feet Under and NH10, the director wants to move on to something light and funny and is now working on a comedy about NRIs in Canada, called Kaneda.

A source close to the development of the project, states, “Navdeep had to struggle for years to complete NH10. In his entire career, he has directed only two films. He isn’t about to spend a couple of years on a sequel to a film he has already done. NH10 is out of Navdeep’s system.”
