On Wednesday night, producer Madhu Mantena engaged to Masaba, fashion got designer and daughter of Viv Richards and Neena Gupta. Only close friends of Madhu and Masaba were invited to this party, which saw the three Phantom boys, Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane fully in attendance. 

Just before Madhu and Masaba exchanged rings, Vikas, who is extremely close to Madhu, went down on his knees and presented a ring to him, feeling terrible about losing him to Masaba. And while the ceremony was kept simple, before everyone quickly broke into the party mode, what was truly heartening for all their friends were the speeches by Vivian Richards and Neena Gupta. While Viv was not there physically, he and his wife Miriam gave a very touching speech through an AV. His wife recalled the first time she met Masaba. Masaba had hugged her and she immediately knew from that day that they would be friends. Neena was extremely emotional and said to her husband Vivek Mehra, now that Masaba would not be there, he should take retirement as she would be all alone. She had tears talking about Masaba getting married and said it had happened all too soon. She not only had a lump in her throat talking about her daughter, but Masaba had tears and had to hide her tears. At the cake cutting (cake was named M&M standing for Madhu and Masaba), Madhu's boyfriends and Masaba's girlfriends were clearly divided and cheered for their own sides. The party also saw some interesting jodis. Masaba's good friend Alia Bhatt came with her boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra, Jackky Bhagnani came with his beautiful Youngistaan co-star Neha Sharma, Vivek Oberoi remained by the side of his fully pregnant wife Priyanka (due for delivery sometime next month) and the talk of the party was Karan Johar having a long conversation with Aamir Khan. We are also happy to tell you that we heard Masaba tell a few friends that the marriage was slated for coming November. We eagerly await the formal announcement.
