What's common
between the film Welcome Back and the fbb Femina Miss India
2015 finale that will take place on March 28? According to the movie's
producer, Firoz A Nadiadwala, both are primarily focussed on family
audiences. He explains, “This pageant by the Times of India is watched by families all over the world.
And our film is an entertainer, also for families.“
Actors Anil Kapoor and John Abraham will be judging the finale along with Nadiadwala. Also present at the event will be director Anees Bazmee, as well as actors Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Shruti Haasan, who will make their entry to the beats of the Welcome theme track.
Attributing this integration to the long and fruitful association with the Times Group, Nadiadwala says, “The film's director and actors were very happy with this association and judging the pageant. It's a great coming together of like minded efforts.“
Reiterating that many Miss India winners have made it big in the movies, the filmmaker says, “This is the best
platform for newcomers to showcase their confidence and talent to the world. Besides, the pageant's strength lies in being non-biased and giving equal opportunity to all.Additionally, the girls inspire others to participate in this competition.“
