Salman scores over girlfriends
After a call from Sooraj Barjatya, Sonam Kapoor cancels a pyjama party for a 5am shoot with the star

Sonam Kapoor was in the mood to party on Thursday night. The actress entered childhood pal Pernia Qureshi's pop-up shop party bare foot, high heels swinging in her hands, munching pizza and sipping champagne. "It's my night to let my hair down," she quipped.

The actress has been really busy the last month promoting her last release, Dolly Ki Doli, before flying out to attend the Armani show at the Paris Fashion Week. So, when she heard that Pernia was throwing a bash to celebrate the launch of a nightwear line on her online store, she asked if she could show up in pyjamas.

"No way!" Pernia screamed, pointing out that she was a fashion icon and had to turn up in a dress.

"So she wore an off-shoulder, black ballroom gown with diamonds around her neck," Pernia laughed.

The girls had hoped to make a night out of the occasion but their plans were cut short by a phone call from Sonam's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo director, Sooraj Barjatya. The director wanted to film a romantic scene with her and Salman during sunrise.

"He told me I had to report on the sets at 5 am. Now, I have to cancel the sleepover with my girlfriends at Pernia's apartment and head directly for Karjat," sighed the actress, perking up when reminded that it was Salman who would be serenading her.
