The two veterans are vying for the affections of a 20-something debutante in Welcome Back

Eight years after Welcome, its sequel Welcome Back reunites Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor who played the kitschy dons, Uday Shankar Shetty and Majnu Bhai, in the 2007 film. The actors are the only members of the original cast returning in the sequel and once again will be vying for the attention of a pretty young thing.

In the upcoming comic caper, Anil, 58, plays a superstar and Nana, 64, a famous painter fighting over 20-year-old debutante Ankita Srivastava. "They're both single, waiting to fall in love. Unfortunately, the 'young heroes' hit it off with the same woman," reveals director Anees Bazmee.

Welcome was the second highest grosser of 2007 and producer Firoz Nadiadwala was generous with the budget second time too. "From Ferraris, Rolls Royces and Lamborghinis racing in the dessert to real gold-rimmed spectacles, Firozji didn't hold back for the sequel," says Anees.
