Yesterday was Indian cinema's showman Kapoor's 90th birthday Raj. A host of the iconic filmmaker's relatives and friends visited the RK residence at Chembur.

A source said, “Mrs Krishna Raj Kapoor had organised a special lunch for the numerous guests. And most of the conversation veered around Raj saab.“

Rishi Kapoor, who was committed to a social cause elsewhere in the city, couldn't make it to his family home for lunch. His wife Neetu, who was expected to arrive from London later in the day, also skipped the do.

Rishi said, “We do not have a puja on birthdays. We usually have a puja on June 2, his death anniversary. Dad's friends, well-wishers and many of our family members came over to our family home yesterday to mark the occasion.“
