Last Wednesday, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted shooting for Vikramjit Singh's upcoming film Roy at a plush hotel in Lower Parel.
A source from the unit revealed that the film's climax was being canned with RK fighting off the baddies in a hand-to-hand combat scene.
The source said: "It was a complex shoot, but was wrapped up in time as Ranbir had to dash off to Shimla for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha that very evening. It was an action sequence and RK was seen practising Krav Maga -- a form of self-defence system used mostly by Israeli military men.
RK had been training in Krav Maga since the past few weeks and thanks to his training, the shoot progressed without any hiccups."
The source added that with this schedule, RK's portions in Roy are complete.
"Now, Vikram has to shoot with Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez for about 10 days and with that it will be a wrap for the much-delayed Roy. The director is racing against time to complete the climax as the film's teaser is scheduled to release in December. "
In the film, Ranbir plays the title role of an art thief while Arjun Rampal plays a writer. Jacqueline Fernandez has a double role and will be seen essaying the role of a film director in one. The film will release in February 2015.
