RAJA NATWARLAL has emerged one of the biggest disappointments of the year as it grossed around 20.50 crore nett in week one and has gone into week two with limited screenings of 2-3 shows at multiplexes. The film could also not make an impact at single screens where Emraan Hashmi films tend to do better especially in Western India.
The film is unlikely to reach 25 crore nett lifetime business which will mean similar business to SHANGHAI which was a flop Emraan Hashmi film released a couple of years back.
------------------------
MARDAANI grossed a decent 8-8.25 crore nett in week two taking its two week total to 31 crore nett plus. The film dropped around 65% in week two which is good trending although collections are on lower side.
Overall its a decent result for the film as for one there was hardy any face value and on top of that, it was Adult certificate which holds back collections at centres where families frequent theatre halls.
The best business for MARDAANI has come in West Bengal and Mumbai followed by Delhi/UP while other circuits were low in week two.
------------------------
SINGHAM RETURNS added around 4 crore nett in week three taking its total to around 139 crore nett. The film will finish around 140 crore nett. The collections have dropped fast after a huge first week.
