It was quite cool to hear Sonam Kapoor call her mother, played by Kirron Kher, in the Khoobsurat trail er by her first name, Manju. Interestingly, we learnt that Sonam and her sister Rhea practise that in their real life where they call their father Anil Kapoor AKS (pronounced as aches) and their mother Sunita as SONES.

That is not to say that they don't call them dad or mama respectively, but it's just that they are friends with their parents so call them by these names. Confirming to us, Rhea said, “Both our parents are like friends to us and this reflects our modern upbringing. In fact, if we go to our father and say, 'dad dad', he will just walk away."
