HOLIDAY - A SOLIDER IS NEVER OFF DUTY grossed 11.34 crore nett on day one as per early estimates which is below the mark for its cost and release size but better than what it looked like when it opened yesterday morning. The film was best in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

The opening day collections of the film are less than READY, ROWDY RATHORE and YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, the three films which was released in the same week over the last three years.

The collections also picked up in North with East Punjab and Delhi city both going over 1 crore nett. The key is now what happens on Saturday.

There is potential of big growth on Saturday as the film had low occupancies on Friday and can go much higher but on the other hand is that the areas with best business like Rajasthan and Gujarat tend to go down unless they are very low. So it remains to be seen how the film goes on Saturday.
