Zoya Akhtar has set sail with the cast and
crew of Dil Dhadakne Do on the cruise which has been the talk of B-town
for weeks. Mirror caught up with co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani just as the
first shot of the film was being canned. On board the liner, which
has set off from Barcelona, are Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Farhan
Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and Shifaali Shah with Anushka Sharma set to join
them next week.

“For the next six weeks we will be sailing
through Spain, Italy, France and Tunisia and filming along the way. Then
we spend three weeks shooting in Turkey before returning to Mumbai,"
said an excited Ritesh, who couldn't wait to get back to the monitor to
check out the maiden shot.
As they tour some of the most beautiful cities in the world, including Barcelona, Rome, Florence and Naples, Zoya and Ritesh have come up with a multi-tasking idea to keep their stars busy even as they film their shots.

Instead of a
designated still photographer, the actors will double up as shutterbugs
and capture all the action as well as their scenic surroundings. Each of
the six actors will be appointed official photographer for a week and
their clicks will then be uploaded on a digital platform as a
travelogue.
“They will be taking pictures of the six ports along the way. Their visual perspectives, along with their thoughts, will be a break from the usual boring routine of still photography and make the process of filming interactive and fun for everyone including their fans,” pointed out Ritesh.
What can we say, except bon voyage!
