After opting out of Citylights following creative differences with Mukesh Bhatt and the team of Vishesh Films, director Ajay Bahl has finally started work on his second movie. Titled Hotel Grand, it’s a noir thriller on the subject of ambition and greed. While the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised, Shilpa Shukla, who came up with an applause worthy performance in his debut film B.A. Pass, will play the lead.

 Confirming the news Ajay says, “Shilpa is definitely playing an important character in Hotel Grand. We will be talking to other actors next week. The film should roll post monsoons.”

 Shilpa too is happy to associate with Ajay again. I will play a central character in this racy romantic thriller which explores the darker side of human emotions. It’s another challenging role.”

 Buzz is, it’s another bold avatar and just as unconventional. Shilpa retorts, “I can assure you that the story is as unique as B.A. Pass and nothing like what you’d expect from this genre.”
