At an event last week on the red carpet, when the shutterbugs wanted Vidya Balan Kapur and Shilpa Shetty Kundra to pose together, apparently, Vidya hesitated for a few seconds before joining the latter for a photo op. A source says, “Realising the awkwardness of the situation, Shilpa stepped in and smoothed matters out by dragging her there and posing with her.” Shilpa denies it and says, “Not at all! Bechari Vidya. We are very fond of each other. We are from Chembur and both went to St Anthony’s Girls High School. Her sister and I were in the same batch, but Vidya is a couple of years younger. She was doing interviews when I walked in. When Vidya saw me she was just the same and warm as ever.”
