Producer Sajid Nadiadwala who is turning director with Salman Khan-starrer Kick has now turned writer! This little secret was revealed to us by Riteish Deshmukh who is producing and acting in the film penned by Sajid.

Lai Bhaari is Riteish’s third film as a producer. But this is the first time he will be acting in his own film. A source close to the actor-producer reveals, “It was his co-producer Jeetu Thackeray who told Riteish that Sajid had written a fantastic script and they should have a look at it. When they did, Riteish found the subject very interesting and decided not just to produce, but act in it as well. The film is now complete and only needs to be dubbed.”

The film is directed by Nishikant Kamat. Riteish says, “It’s an absolute commercial film — action and drama genre — and it’s not based on any politicians life. It’s based on a story written by Sajid.”
