MAIN TERA HERO grossed 20 crore nett approx on its first weekend. The weekend collections are low but if we factor in two cricket matches which dented collections badly on Friday and Sunday it can be called an average weekend.

The collections could have been in the 22-23 crore nett range if it was a normal weekend. The weekdays are the key for the film and it has to sustain well to get a reasonable first week.

MAIN TERA HERO has grossed a little bit less than SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS which had a similar costing but had a lower screen count. That film did not sustain too well after the first weekend and managed around 38 crore lifetime business. MAIN TERA HERO will be hoping to go higher than that film despite the weekend being 1 crore less. The approx breakdown for the weekend is as follows.
Friday - 5.50 crore nett
Saturday - 7 crore nett
Sunday - 7.50-7.75 crore nett
TOTAL 20-20.25 crore nett
