Had to travel quite a bit to see ANKHON DEKHI and I am glad I did. A lovely piece of cinema that stands out because of its premise, execution, camerawork and performances! The good old Sanjay Mishra takes the film to another level…what an actor! Other actors – Seema Pahwa, Maya Sarao, Namit Das, Brijendra Kala etc – too deliver fine performances and director Rajat Kapoor beautifully underplays his part. Some portions could have been better and the climax did leave me stunned but I wished the film had not ended in such a manner. Nevertheless, it’s nice to see something different being attempted by our makers fearlessly!
