Lata Mangeshkar on Comedy Nights With Kapil

Intially she said no. But now the nightingale Lata Mangeshkar has
relented and will be appearing on the very popular Comedy Nights With
Kapil. Says Kapil Sharma, “Initially, she said, ‘Main kya karungi show
mein?’ I assured her there would be no normal tomfoolery that dadi and
other characters do on my show. Lata didi said, ‘No no, I want all that.
It seems great fun.’ After Lataji comes on the show I wouldn’t know
where to go. Because the two biggest legends of the entertainment —
Bachchan saab and Lataji, would be part of Comedy Nights With Kapil. It
can’t get any bigger.”
Kapil’s proudest moment was when Lata sent him a gift on his birthday on April 2.
