Prateik’s career seems to have hit a speedbreaker. The actor, who was working the second time around with producer Shailesh Singh (Issaq), was reportedly shown the door from Rum Pum Posshh, their next collaboration. That too, after shooting for about a week. He has been replaced by model-actor Shaswat Seth, who was seen in the last season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.

 Sources suggest that Prateik gave the film’s team a tough time. “Sometimes, he simply wouldn’t be around for the shot. After about a week of dealing with his erratic ways, the makers decided to opt for someone else,” a source says.

 When contacted, Shailesh conceded that the actor was feeling low after the debacle of Issaq, but he wasn’t shown the door. He added, “Prateik shot barely two days and it was more of a look test. He wasn’t in the frame of mind to shoot and it wouldn’t have been right to make the director and cast wait for four-five months.”
