All actors promote their films. It’s rare for an actor to promote a film that he isn’t part of. So it’s really nice when an actor comes out to promote a colleague’s film. Salman Khan has been doing it for years. And now Ranbir Kapoor seems to have taken a leaf out of the senior’s book.

Ranbir, who is respected for the kind of films he does (Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year, Rockstar, Barfi, etc), has now come out to support Jackky Bhagnani’s film Youngistaan, which released this Friday.

RK saw the film on Monday night at a special screening and enjoyed it. Post the film he said, “I am really proud that Jackky has done a film of this kind with a message. It is a lovely romantic comedy set in the world of politics.”

Ranbir urges his fans to watch the film, “I really hope people will give this movie a chance because it deserves that.”

He further adds, “Jackky has done a remarkable job; and has grown as an actor. And great Farooq Sheikh, with whom I also did Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, is also in the film. That’s inspiring for all of us.”
