Aditya Roy Kapur and Shahid Kapoor may share similar sounding last names in real- life but it looks like their reel life avatars are now matching steps with each other. So while Shahid Kapoor has been sporting a short crop for his upcoming movie Haider, Aditya has of late been spotted with a similar haircut. It seems that Kapur’s new look is in tandem with his character for the film, Daawat-E-Ishq.

To add to it, both the actors will have similar names in their films.

Both Shahid and Aditya’s characters in their respective films are called Haider. Says a source, “Shahid and Aditya share the same name Haider in their upcoming projects. And they are also sporting a similar haircut for their films. It’s an interesting coincidence since both films belong to different genres.” It may be pointed out here that while Shahid’s film Haider is based on Shakespeare’s work, Hamlet, and is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, Dawat-E-Ishq is Aditya’s first release this year.

Directed by Habib Faisal, this film is set in Hyderabad and Lucknow.
