Avengers: Age Of Ultron collects 69 cr in 2 weeks

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has become the second highest Hollywood grosser ever in India with business of around 69 crore nett behind only FAST & FURIOUS 7 released a few weeks. the second week added 15.50 crore nett while FAST & FURIOUS 7 had grossed around 18 crore nett in week two.
The film should be able to add another 5-6 crore nett to finish around the 75 crore nett mark which will be 20 crore nett less than FAST & FURIOUS 7.
The film has shown a huge jump from the last instalment of AVENGERS as that film had grossed 52 crore nett in 2012. That film is also amongst the top ten grossing Hollywood films in India

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON had a decent second weekend though collections were down 70% from first weekend. The daily second weekend business of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is as follows.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON had a very good first week of 53 crore nett approx though collections did came down on the weekdays. The difference between AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and FAST & FURIOUS 7 is that the latter did better in the dubbed format. The business of the English versions is not much different. The first week collections are the second highest of all time after FAST & FURIOUS 7.
The fact that weekday collections were not too strong and the release of GABBR IS BACK will see collections down in week two.
Despite the mid week falls the film has crossed the business of the last AVENGERS film and should emerge the second highest highest grossing Hollywood film in India after FAST & FURIOUS 7.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON held up well on its 8th day with collections of 3-3.25 crore nett. The film benefited from the holiday factor especially because Mumbai city, Pune and Bangalore are high grossing areas for Hollywood releases and all had holidays for Maharashtra Day/May Day.
The growth on Saturday if there will be less than normal as the holiday areas are unlikely to increase. The film should be able to collect around 10 crore nett for its second weekend which is reasonable and 65-70% down from last weekend.
The film will become the second highest grossing Hollywood film ever in India by the end if it's second week with business nearing 70 crore nett though the 95 crore nett of FAST & FURIOUS 7 will be out of reach.

JAI HO DEMOCRACY, KAAGAZ KE FOOLS, ISHQ KE PARINDEY and RANG E ISHQ had very low first week collections with KAAGAZ KE FOOLS being the best of the lot.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON had an excellent first weekend of around
35.50 core nett. It could have been slightly higher but some theatres
were shut in UP and East India on Saturday due to tremors. The three day collections are as follows:

The film is well ahead if the Hindi films released this year as no Hindi film has crossed the 30 crore nett mark this year. The opening of the film is just a little short of FAST & FURIOUS 7 which grossed 37 crore nett in three days.

in one week. That film had grossed 52 crore nett and that total should
be crossed or at least very close by the end of the week.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron collects 10.75 cr on Day 1

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON had a very good first day grossing around 10.75 crore nett. It is the second highest opening day for a Hollywood release and bigger than all Hindi Films released this year.
The film is not that far off the opening day business of FAST & FURIOUS 7 which opened on a holiday and on more screens, the main difference being the collections in places like Gujarat, CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan. FAST & FURIOUS 7 had opened to around 12 crore nett a few weeks back.
The business will easily beat the last AVENGERS film as that had
grossed 14 crore nett over the weekend and around 52 crore nett
lifetime. Here the weekend alone has chances of a 35 crore nett total.
