ABCD 2 dropped in third week with business of around 6-6.25 crore
nett taking its three week business to around 104 crore nett. The film
will not gross much as most territories are down and it was mainly down
to Mumbai circuit that it managed a 6 crore nett third week.
A lifetime business is looking to be around 107 crore nett which would put it 27th on the all time list. Mumbai is better as may finish among the top twenty
The Worldwide gross will be around 157 crore which is easily best for Varun Dhawan as HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA was 111 crore. STUDENT OF THE YEAR was 97 crore, MAIN TERA HERO was 79 crore and BADLAPUR 78 crore.

ABCD 2 grossed around 4.75-5 crore nett in its third weekend to take its total to nearly 102 crore nett. The film has has dropped in the third weekend compared to its second weekend.
A lot of circuits have dropped heavily but the Maharashtra and Gujarat area are still doing pretty well and giving good contributions. The business in Mumbai circuit is 39 crore nett which now makes it the highest grossing film of 2015 in Mumbai circuit. Its a totally different story in Delhi/UP and East Punjab where it will not even do 50% of the business of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS

ABCD 2 grossed 25 crore nett approx in week to take its business to near 97 crore crore nett. The film has shown drops on the weekdays in first and second week and if there was competition the film may have found it tough but everything around it apart from JURASSIC WORLD is going down. Hence, the collections are decent.
The film is mainly doing the business on the strength of Mumbai circuit which in two weeks is similar to TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS lifetime business. The film is closing in on 37 crore nett in Mumbai.

ABCD 2 grossed 16 crore nett in its second weekend to take its business to around 87.50 crore nett. It was the second highest second weekend of the year after after TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS and better than films like GABBAR IS BACK, BABY and DIL DHADAKNE DO. If compared with some of the films last year then it is comparable to a 2 STATES and better than SINGHAM RETURNS, BANG BANG, JAI HO and EK VILLAIN.
The film is still being driven by Mumbai circuit where the business has surpassed 33 crore nett and is closing on in the 37 crore nett (5 weeks) of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS fast.
ABCD 2 is also likely to cross the business of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS in CP Berar and Nizam/Andhra. Basically any circuit which has cities from Maharashtra will be number one for the year.

ABCD 2 grossed 3.50-3.75 crore nett apprx on its second Friday. The
film is down 75% from day one but collections are at a good level. The
eight day collections haves crossed 75 crore nett.
The film will grow well on Saturday and Sunday and the week on week drop should go more closer to the 70% range. The weekend could go to the 15 crore nett range. The film was hit in East Punjab and Delhi/UP by the Punjabi film Sardaarji which is doing bumper business.
ABCD 2 is likely to finish it's business around the 110 crore nett mark.
The film will grow well on Saturday and Sunday and the week on week drop should go more closer to the 70% range. The weekend could go to the 15 crore nett range. The film was hit in East Punjab and Delhi/UP by the Punjabi film Sardaarji which is doing bumper business.
ABCD 2 collects 71.75 cr in Week 1

ABCD 2 had the highest first week collection of the year as it grossed 71.75 crore nett aporx. It beat the previous best of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS which had grossed 69 crore nett. The film did fall midweek but still the week is very good due to the strong opening.
The film is being driven by Maharashtra belt and this area tends to fall faster than most other circuits and sothat could be the reason for the falls. Mumbai curcuit has grossed a huge 26.75 crore nett in week one while Delhi/UP is 12 crore nett.
The film has an open window in front of it and should hit 100 crore nett it's third weekend and go on to business if 110 crore nett plus.

ABCD 2 held up very well on Monday with a drop of less than 45% from Friday. It is the second highest Monday of the year after TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS which grossed 8.60 crore nett. The first four day business of ABCD 2 is as follows.

ABCD 2 had a strong Tuesday showing the regular weekday fall. The first five day business of ABCD 2 is as follows.

TOTAL - 61,25,00,000
The film has now crossed 60 crore nett and will be around 72 crore nett for the week. The film is on course for business of over 100 crore nett.
ABCD 2 collects 46 cr in 3 days

ABCD 2 had a very good first weekend with business if 46 crore nett approx. It is the highest first weekend of the year beating the 39 crore nett approx of GABBAR IS BACK. The film has done extraordinary business in Mumbai and CP Berar is also huge as a lot of its centers fall in Maharashtra. The film collected 14.25 crore on Friday, 14.50 crore on Saturday and 17.25 crore on Sunday.
The Mumbai circuit business of the film is around 17.50 crore nett in the first weekend. TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS had grossed 18.50 crore in the first week while GABBAR IS BACK was 19.50 crore nett approx for the week. It is almost touching the week figures of these films in the weekend.
But the key for ABCD 2 has not been Mumbai but North as Mumbai has a ready market for dance films. North India and Rajasthan is not great or anything but it is good and for a dance film these markets can be called very good. Also the start of Ramadan means that many stations on UP have a dip in collections. The weekend business ensures a HIT and remains to be seen how higher it goes.

ABCD 2 had the best opening of the year with first day collections of 14.25 crore nett apprx. The film was excellent in Mumbai circuit despite heavy rain as it grossed 5.25 crore in the circuit. The business was excellent in Maharashtra which also reflected in CP Berar which grossed a huge 89 lakhs nett. Despite the rain it is still Mumbai circuit which has performed best.
North India managed to do well also despite the subject. Obviously the film won't go like TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS in North but opening is similar to that film with Delhi/UP being slightly ahead and East Punjab at the same level.
North may not be number one but Mumbai surely will be as opening far exceeds anything else this year. The film will just have to hold at these levels to emerge a hit. A slight drop is normal on day two for a big release but recently this trend us changing with Saturday growth coming for most of the releases. It remains to be seen if ABCD 2 manages to grow on Saturday or not.

The film is a extraordinary hit in Mumbai circuit as both Gujarat and Maharashtra are super strong. It will emerge the biggest of the year in Mumbai circuit with potential to do 50 crore nett in circuit despite the rains.
