ABCD 2 had the highest first week collection of the year as it grossed 71.75 crore nett aporx. It beat the previous best of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS which had grossed 69 crore nett. The film did fall midweek but still the week is very good due to the strong opening.

The film is being driven by Maharashtra belt and this area tends to fall faster than most other circuits and sothat could be the reason for the falls. Mumbai curcuit has grossed a huge 26.75 crore nett in week one while Delhi/UP is 12 crore nett.
