2.0 (Hindi) had a good second week of 37.50 crore nett apprx though the film did see falling collections on the weekdays. The film has a two week total of 175 crore net now and is the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2018 after SANJU and PADMAAVAT.

The 200 crore nett mark will probably be a step too far and its looking a finish of around 190 crore but that will depend on the business today (Friday). The first week saw under performance in Mumbai but it has done better in that circuit in week two. The bigger drops were in North where the film had a very strong first week. Its a huge result for the film as eventually its a dubbed South film and it is difficult for these types to open and sustain and very few films have managed it.

2.0 (Hindi) had a drop in collections on its second Tuesday as it collected 3 crore nett which is 20% lower than the previous day. It was the same trend last week when the film showed drops on the Tue-Thu period but held up strongly on the Monday.

The film has cleared the 170 crore nett mark and the second week will collect around 38 crore nett in the second week which will take the film above 175 crore nett in two weeks and then remains to be seen where the film lands on the third Friday. The film has grossed around 8.50 crore nett plus in Bihar which makes it the fourth highest NETT grosser ever in that circuit and it will surpass SANJU which is third this weekend.

2.0 is collecting well in the second week across the country. The film may not got the start that was expected in some centres in South India but it is holding very well. The hold are much stronger than the normal blockbuster down South.

It has now taken its total to around 380 crore nett in all formats across the country and will surpass DANGAL to become the third highest NETT grosser of all time by the end of the week. The two BAAHUBALI films remain ahead of it and in time it should cross the numbers of BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING. The GROSS figures are 480 crore and it will become the fourth film to do 500 crore GROSS in India.

The Overseas business of the film is around $18 million till date which takes the worldwide total of the film in thirteen days to 610 crore. The film is the seventh highest grosser ever in India till date on all formats. It should finish in sixth position and then depends on what happens in the Far East next year.

2.0 (Hindi) held well on its second Monday as it collected 3.75 crore nett which is 35% down from the Friday. The collections now stand at 30 crore nett for the second week in four days. The film is holding strongly across all circuits especially mass pockets and Mumbai circuit is performing well in the second week as compared to the first week. The twelve day total is 167.50 crore which means the film has crossed RACE 3 to be the third highest grossing film of the year.

The second week collections look to be going around 39-40 crore nett and it is just about whether the film can get to 200 crore nett. The trend is on course at the moment but the problem will the release of ZERO in week three which will probably hit the collections of the film which may keep it under 200 crore nett.

Although it hardly makes a difference as the film is a SUPER HIT whether collections finish at 190 crore nett plus or 200 crore nett plus.

2.0 (Hindi) is a SUPER HIT film as it had a strong second weekend of over 26 crore nett. The film has now collected 164 crore apprx nett after 11 days and is the fourth highest grosser of the year after SANJU, PADMAAVAT and RACE 3. It went past the collections of BAAGHI 2 on Sunday. It should go past the business of RACE 3 today (Monday).

The second weekend is the third best of the year after SANJU and PADMAAVAT. The film is holding well across the country. The biggest drops were in Punjab and Delhi in the film as the first week had done so well there. The film had majority of the single screens in week two as KEDARNATH had a limited single screen release. The second weekend is on par with the new release KEDARNATH.

The film has also held well in its Tamil and Telugu formats in the South especially the big centers of Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad where collections are extraordinary. The film is the opposite of its Hindi version in the South where the metros are doing best while in the Hindi version the business is better in the mass circuits rather than a Mumbai or Kolkata.

2.0 held very strongly across the country as it collected 57 crore nett in its second weekend for a 365 crore nett apprx total in 11 days. It had looked like that Hindi version would be 50% or over in the second weekend but that has not happened due to the business in metros of the South (Chennai, Hyderbad and Bangalore) which have contributed very strongly in the second weekend.

The gross figures of he film has crossed 450 crore in India and stands at around 455 crore. The film is now the fourth highest grossing film ever in India on all formats with BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION (1430 crore), BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING (516 crore) and DANGAL (512 crore) ahead of it.

BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION is an impossible task not just for 2.0 but for every film to come and probably in the next decade also. The other two are very much in sight and 2.0 should surpass both.

The worldwide business of the film is around 585-590 crore and it should hit the 600 crore mark or be very close after the business on Monday. If the film can hold up strongly in the third weekend then the 700 crore worldwide is a possibility.

In Tamil Nadu the film has grossed 100 crore apprx in eleven days. It looks like the share of the film in Tamil Nadu will stay below the 74-75 crore of the last film ENTHIRAN (2010) which still has the highest share in Tamil Nadu for any Tamil film. But in those days there was no tax for Tamil films in Tamil Nadu and films got a 70-75% share of the gross but now that figures is down to 55% apprx.

2.0 (Hindi) has emerged a SUPER HIT film it collected 9.25 crore on its second Saturday to take its 10 day total to 152.50 crore nett. The film has shown growth of around 60% on its second Saturday from a good level on Friday.

These collections are coming without much of the South region otherwise the Hindi version would be over 165 crore by now. The film is now certain to go over 190 crore nett  and its just about if it can hold well enough to get to that 200 crore nett mark.

The third week will be crucial for the 200 crore nett mark as there is a strong flow of releases in the Christmas and New Year period. So collections will drop after week three.

The collections are only 20-25% down from Thursday and that is despite competition from a new release KEDARNATH. The film had been dropping 15-20% on the weekdays post Monday but stabilized very well on its second Friday.

The film is strong across all mass markets bet it UP, Central, Bihar and Gujarat. The latter did not have a great start but is now doing well. The film should emerge a SUPER HIT film which should be confirmed if that expected big jump comes on Saturday. It Friday business also means it has a shot at the 200 crore nett mark but that will probably depend on what happens in week three. The film has also held up well down South with Mysore and Tamil Nadu are also holding well.
