2.0 (Hindi) is a SUPER HIT film as it had a strong second weekend of over 26 crore nett. The film has now collected 164 crore apprx nett after 11 days and is the fourth highest grosser of the year after SANJU, PADMAAVAT and RACE 3. It went past the collections of BAAGHI 2 on Sunday. It should go past the business of RACE 3 today (Monday).

The second weekend is the third best of the year after SANJU and PADMAAVAT. The film is holding well across the country. The biggest drops were in Punjab and Delhi in the film as the first week had done so well there. The film had majority of the single screens in week two as KEDARNATH had a limited single screen release. The second weekend is on par with the new release KEDARNATH.

The film has also held well in its Tamil and Telugu formats in the South especially the big centers of Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad where collections are extraordinary. The film is the opposite of its Hindi version in the South where the metros are doing best while in the Hindi version the business is better in the mass circuits rather than a Mumbai or Kolkata.

2.0 held very strongly across the country as it collected 57 crore nett in its second weekend for a 365 crore nett apprx total in 11 days. It had looked like that Hindi version would be 50% or over in the second weekend but that has not happened due to the business in metros of the South (Chennai, Hyderbad and Bangalore) which have contributed very strongly in the second weekend.

The gross figures of he film has crossed 450 crore in India and stands at around 455 crore. The film is now the fourth highest grossing film ever in India on all formats with BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION (1430 crore), BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING (516 crore) and DANGAL (512 crore) ahead of it.

BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION is an impossible task not just for 2.0 but for every film to come and probably in the next decade also. The other two are very much in sight and 2.0 should surpass both.

The worldwide business of the film is around 585-590 crore and it should hit the 600 crore mark or be very close after the business on Monday. If the film can hold up strongly in the third weekend then the 700 crore worldwide is a possibility.

In Tamil Nadu the film has grossed 100 crore apprx in eleven days. It looks like the share of the film in Tamil Nadu will stay below the 74-75 crore of the last film ENTHIRAN (2010) which still has the highest share in Tamil Nadu for any Tamil film. But in those days there was no tax for Tamil films in Tamil Nadu and films got a 70-75% share of the gross but now that figures is down to 55% apprx.
