The Shroffs are determined not to knuckle under the Bishnoi gang’s threats. Speculation was rife that the ongoing shoot of Jackie Shroff’s Nanavati vs Nanavati would be called off after shots were fired at Tiger Shroff on Sunday evening. However, sources say Jackie reported to the Powai set on Monday (October 19), “a day after the incident, and worked a 12-hour shift”.

Tiger suffered minor abrasions, while his driver and a fan/bystander sustained injuries when three assailants opened fire at the actor’s vehicle after his football game. The incident prompted security concerns.

A source close to the production says, “Jackie reported to set as scheduled and worked a 12-hour shift. The timings have been altered to accommodate the situation, so he started early and left by 5 pm. He has made it clear that work should not come to a standstill, either for him or Tiger.”

Jackie is determined to honour his commitments while ensuring safety.  “Calling off a shoot has monetary repercussions which will affect the schedules of over 300 people on set. There are no changes to the schedule as of now, but the intention is to not shut down the ongoing schedule,” adds the source.
