Kangana Ranaut has hit back at actor Hrithik Roshan after he commented on a viral social media post saying that “the world owes an apology” to him. The post followed backlash against Ranaut over her remarks on recent student protests, including those over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak. The actor and BJP MP criticised the protesters’ conduct and language, describing some young women at the demonstrations as “Generation Gutter”.

Her comments drew a response from Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson Saurav Das, whom Kangana later called “useless and unemployed”. Saurav then joked that she may have been targeting him because he resembled a younger Hrithik Roshan.

The remark prompted social media users to revive Kangana and Hrithik’s old public dispute, with “We need to apologise to Hrithik Roshan” gaining traction online. Influencer Freddy Birdy also shared a post that read, “The world owes an apology to Hrithik Roshan.”

Hrithik responded in the comments, questioning the tendency to side with one person merely because another had fallen out of favour. Kangana hit back on Instagram Stories on Saturday, accusing him of fuelling the online harassment against her.
