Going by the first look and date announcement video of ‘King’, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer promises to be an action spectacle. The superstar and his daughter Suhana Khan recently wrapped up an eight-day action schedule of filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s thriller at Ellora Studios in Bhayandar.

Sources told mid-day that the sequence plays out against the backdrop of Vijayadashami celebrations, and an elaborate set was designed for it.

A source close to the production revealed, “The team recreated the scale and energy of a Vijayadashami procession with drums, colours, and the frenzy that is seen on the immersion day. Shah Rukh and Suhana shot with a huge crowd, consisting of hundreds of background performers, across eight nights. Suhana also performed several stunts.”
