28 Years Later: The Bone Temple continues from where the 2025 film 28 Years Later ended. The film is just 109 minutes long and boasts of some interesting plot points. This is especially in the last 30 minutes. The way a character brainwashes his gang into believing about the existence of a superior being is amusing and also chilling. Sadly, the film underwhelms as the tone shifts from the rest of the movies of the series. This time, the goings-on get too violent. The earlier parts also had gore, but not at this level. Moreover, this series is famous for showing zombie-like creatures affected by the Rage Virus. Shockingly, these characters hardly get any prominence; the focus is more on the atrocities committed by the character of Jimmy and his gang. Ralph Fiennes (Dr Ian Kelson) had a supporting role last time while in this film, he is the lead and is terrific to say the least. Jack O'Connell (Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal) is fabulous as the antagonist. You'll hate him but also be amused by his antics in a few scenes. Alfie Williams (Spike) is decent and scores with his reactions. Chi Lewis-Parry (Samson) leaves a tremendous mark. All in all, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is an average fare and also the weakest film of the series.
