SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI collected 30.75 crore nett over its extended first weekend of four days which is a reasonable collection for the genre today but the trend is not there for the film. The film started well enough on the first day thanks to the holiday but the business of Saturday and Sunday was not upto the mark as neither of the days could reach the first day number.

The collections of the film are mainly down to that first day as with a normal Friday it would have been around 6 crore nett and it would have been a worse scenario going by the trend over the weekend. The fear was that KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 could have been a huge blockbuster which would have hit SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI. Although the South film has done well, its not that huge blockbuster film letting SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI do its business but content had to better to really benefit.

The film has done better in Mumbai city, NCR and Bangalore but better is not enough as collections cant really be called good. The collections in overseas will be in the $1.1-1.2 million range which is similar to PARAM SUNDARI. Its pretty much similar in Overseas but the holiday makes India look better. The weekend trend will make it a tough ride on the weekdays.
