SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI saw a drop in business on Friday which was on the normal lines and happens to all films which release on Thursday with a national holiday. The film collected 5.50 crore nett which is a low collection but it will make up ground today and attempt to go around the day one figure.

The film is faring better at the bigger multiplexes of the metros and due to the extended weekend, the film should come out with decent numbers for four days as long as the expected growth comes through over the next two days. Then its down to how the film can collect on the weekdays and after.

The film could have done with a solo release as the genre has a limited audience but then you would not get that bonus of a holiday in your first weekend. The film has got lucky that KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 has not piled on the heavy numbers expect in Southern India. But there, SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI is the main Hindi film as KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 is being watched in regional languages.

Its probably because of this that SUNNY SANSKARI KI TULSI KUMARI has some decent collections in South. It is better in South compared to Central and Eastern markets and that is despite KANTARA: A LEGEND – CHAPTER 1 being big in South.
