SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR held well enough on its third Friday considering the competition it did last week. But the problem the film is seeing is weekday drop though the film covers ground on the Fri - Sun period. This is leading to higher weekly drops than what they should be for a content which has not worked because of its initial.

The second week saw a drop of a little under 50% and the third week is likely to see a bigger drop and this is the sort of trend that the films catering to the wider mass audience gets. A film like should be showing lesser weekly drops as it has that more niche targeted audience and not much has been consumed. The film is a HIT but just about it and with footfalls struggling to reach 80 lakhs, its not really found the audience it should have.

After five days, it looked like the film had a shot of 1 crore footfalls but its going to fall quite a bit short. However, the positive is at least the film has managed to do HIT business.
