SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR had a drop in collections on its third Monday as it continued with its trend of having good numbers on the weekend but dropping on weekdays. The cheap Tuesdays should come to its rescue on Tuesday and the collections should go up from this level. The film collected 1.25 crore nett apprx on its third Monday.

The film has a total of 13.50 crore nett in its third week and set to a do a third week total of around 17 crore nett. The overall total stands at 147 crore nett plus and it will be 150 crore nett plus after the third week. The collections are dropping though and the weekly holds are not as good as they should have been especially for a film of this genre which is not front loaded.

The film is looking to end its business in the 160-165 crore nett range depending on what its gets in the fourth week. The film may go ahead of the numbers of HOUSEFULL 5 but will stay below RAID 2.

SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR collected 12.25 crore nett in its third weekend as it did well again on Saturday and Sunday. There is a drop from the previous weekend when the film had collected 33 crore nett apprx. The drop is over 60% and that is likely to be the trend of the film over the week. In short, it will be a 60% drop week on week.

The film continues to do best in Delhi/UP as business there stands at around 35 crore nett and that has come with a low performance in UP baring a few of the big centres. Mumbai is 40 crore nett plus but should have done better especially for a film aimed at the class audience. Being a film for the classes and on top with Aamir Khan both Mumbai and South are not as good as they should be.

The film has around 145 crore nett so far and should be looking at a total of 150 crore nett plus at the end of the third week. It then remains to be seen if the film can get a double digit fourth week which will buck the current weekly trend.

SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR held well enough on its third Friday considering the competition it did last week. But the problem the film is seeing is weekday drop though the film covers ground on the Fri - Sun period. This is leading to higher weekly drops than what they should be for a content which has not worked because of its initial.

The second week saw a drop of a little under 50% and the third week is likely to see a bigger drop and this is the sort of trend that the films catering to the wider mass audience gets. A film like should be showing lesser weekly drops as it has that more niche targeted audience and not much has been consumed. The film is a HIT but just about it and with footfalls struggling to reach 80 lakhs, its not really found the audience it should have.

After five days, it looked like the film had a shot of 1 crore footfalls but its going to fall quite a bit short. However, the positive is at least the film has managed to do HIT business.
