METRO...IN DINO collected 2.75 crore nett on Tuesday as it got benefit of the discounted rates which now puts the film at 21 crore nett and the real test for the film comes now over the next three days. It could go the success way or just fizzle out. The trend on Monday suggests it should do well but there is a clutter of releases and the film is catering to a limited audience only. So, it remains to be seen how this plays out over the next few days.

The fate of the film is all about where the second Friday lands. MAA, which released last week, had similar sort of weekly numbers with a lesser weekday trend but it could not do much on the second Friday due to the competition. This film has to get through the second Friday.

The film had generally done well in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore over the weekend but NCR and a few other pockets are seeing steady collections over the weekday.

METRO...IN DINO has another strong hold on Wednesday as collections come in pretty much similar to Monday after the discounted rates on Tuesday. The film collected around 2.35 crore nett which is 5% down from Monday. Till date, the film is managing to surprise with these holds but the next two days remain crucial.

The total collections of the film stand at a little over 23 crore nett. So, the first week will be 25 crore nett which is a low total but considering day one was 3.25 crore nett, it becomes decent and now its all about where the film can go from here.

METRO...IN DINO has seen a strong trend over the weekdays as it collects over 25 crore nett in the first week. The film opened to collections on the low side but has managed to hold well after the weekend as it earned almost 10 crore nett in the Mon - Thu period. The first week total is again on the lower side but looking at the holds, it can get a good run from here.

There is competition but METRO...IN DINO is well established in the metros and drop in screen count should not matter much as this metro audience should continue to come. The film has to hold close to the Thursday number on the second Friday and that should be enough for the film as its sure to consolidate on Saturday.

The film has done well in Mumbai with 8 crore nett plus total and Mysore is very good. Delhi NCR pocket could have done better but it held post the weekend and that should continue in the second week. The film has good chances of emerging a surprise success if it can go on from here for a couple of weeks.

METRO...IN DINO saw a very good hold on its second Friday as collections edged up from the Thursday despite the new releases. The film collected 2.25 crore nett which is a good collection for this film. The film had held up well in the first week but the collections were still low. That will not be the case in week two as it will get good collections as long as there is that jump on Saturday which should be, given for a film in this zone.

The film has a total of almost 28 crore nett in eight days and it is possible it will be standing at 40 crore nett after two weeks as long as the Saturday performs as it should. This will give the film a good chance to go to the 50 crore nett mark which would be a decent result.

The film continues to record very good collections in Mumbai, NCR, Kolkata, Pune and Bangalore. NCR was a bit low to start off but is now also doing well. The business outside these metros is limited but that was always going to be the case.
