SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR collected 7-7.25 crore nett on its first Wednesday which is s drop of around 15% and a the drop is a little higher than it should have been with 10% being ideal considering the weekend trend. But generally there was a big drop for Hindi films on Wednesday and that is with accounting for the others which were coming out of the cheap Tuesday rates.

The film is a HIT but if the film sees 15% drops over the next two days, then that second Friday will not be high as it should be and that is all important if the film is to do anything more than HIT business. No doubt the growth will be huge on Saturday. So, the higher the Friday, the better it will be.

The film stands at 81 crore nett till date and will be around 87.50 crore nett for the first week which is good number especially come from a 10 crore nett start. However, there is work for the film to be done to do the sort of business that the superb holds on Monday and Tuesday suggested.

SITAARE ZAMEEN PAR has seen a good first week collecting 86.50 crore nett after picking up very well on Saturday and holding well on the weekdays though the film could have held better over the last two days. The film saw a superb hold on Monday dropping just 20% on Monday. When Monday is so strong, there is always a chance the film can show minimal drops over the weekdays.

The film is a HIT but it remains to be seen if it can do any better and that all depends on where it lands on the second Friday. The holds on Monday and Tuesday suggested the film should go to around 175 crore nett but that does not look so easy now especially as the flow of releases is super strong over the next few weeks from both Hindi and Hollywood.

The target for the film is to probably finish somewhere in the range where films like HOUSEFULL 5 and RAID 2 have finished and that is a very good number for the content of the film as it lacks wider appeal compared to those factors. The film must record a second Friday similar to Thursday to ensure that it comfortably goes over the 150 crore nett mark.
