The Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, followed by heightened Indo-Pak tensions, left many wary of setting foot in the Kashmir Valley. Tourism took a hit, and several filmmakers reconsidered shooting plans in the region. However, Bobby Deol isn’t one to give in to fear. The actor has decided to take his next project to Kashmir – becoming the first Bollywood actor to lead a full-scale shoot there post the incident.
Sources reveal that Bobby has asked his team to lock Kashmir as the primary location for the project, which demands a grand, mountainous backdrop.
A source close to the actor confirms, “Bobby has asked the team to explore all possibilities to bring this story to life in Kashmir. The team is actively working on the modalities to get it rolling. Bobby’s decision to go ahead with the shoot not only reaffirms his creative conviction but also sends out a powerful message – that art must never be held hostage by fear.”

Speaking about the film’s popular song Jamal Kudu featuring him, he said, “It was Sandeep’s idea. There was no choreography, so I just decided to put the glass on my head and do the step. I never expected it to go viral. Now, kids recognize me because of the reels made on that song. I always wanted to connect with the younger generation, and this film has helped me do that.”
