Actor Sagarika Ghatge and former cricketer Zaheer Khan have been blessed with their first child after seven years of marriage. They made the heartwarming announcement on Wednesday on Instagram: “With love, gratitude and divine blessings we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan.” The couple didn’t share much about the pregnancy or delivery.

Sagarika, known as the Chak De! India (2007) girl, had shared a series of monochrome pictures for the announcement. The newborn’s name is a combination of the Hindi and Urdu words fateh (victory) and singh (lion), and can be translated as victorious lion.

Several celebrities expressed congratulations in the comments section, including Anushka Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Angad Bedi, Huma Qureshi, Athiya Shetty, Sara Tendulkar, Gaurav Kapur, and Diana Penty.

Sagarika (39) and Zaheer (46), who got married in November, 2017, made their first appearance together at former cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actor Hazel Keech’s wedding in Goa in 2016, sharing several pictures together on social media.
