JAAT had good collections on Tuesday as it got benefit of cheap rates and collected in the 5.50 crore nett range. The cheap Tuesday offer has been started by PVR but it meant that many other multiplexes followed and that was the case yesterday. There were some places which did not do it but the national chains and most of the non nationals had the offer.

JAAT has around 52 crore nett over six days but actual test is on Wednesday (today) as Monday was a partial holiday and Tuesday got benefit of this new offer from multiplexes. This has made the Monday and Tuesday holds look better and if that Tuesday number came with everything normal, it would have been a super hold after a holiday. Now the wait is for the film to come down to its actual level.

The film has done pretty well so far but its the next few days that will tell if the film can do anything better than average business though in todays scenario you take even average as a result. The film continues to be very good in Rajasthan, Haryana and UP while other mass pockets also seem steady, taking out the advantage it got on Monday and Tuesday.
