JAAT had a decent hold on its second day as it collected 6.5-6.75 crore nett which takes the film to 15.50 crore nett in two days. The drop on day two is in the 25-30% range which is fair post a partial holiday. The collections of the film down heavily in the morning but recovered well post the afternoon shows.

The film was better in places which were weaker on the first day as Mumbai circuit only dropped 10-15% while the national chains also saw a drop of under 25%. The drop was highest in Rajasthan and UP especially the latter but both did good business on the first day. The next two days are important for the film.

The Saturday number should go towards the first day number but it could find it tough to do so as such a high ratio of business is coming from mass pockets. Hence, its likely these areas will come to day one levels and higher on Sunday. Overall its middling business over the first two days at an all India level though some pockets are good. The film needs to improve in Delhi NCR/Punjab (political) and Mumbai especially the former as there is some potential there with the rest of North doing good.
