SANAM TERI KASAM has recorded outstanding collections in its repeat run as it collects around 4 crore nett on its first day which is by far the highest collection seen by any repeat run by a distance. TUMBBAD had collected 1.25 crore nett while YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI had collected a little more than 1 crore nett but this film is way ahead.

There is a caveat as the general word is block bookings and looking at the number they are possibly there. But taking that aside, its still a huge number and organic; it will be far ahead of the other repeat runs. The film has that target audience of the youth in major cities which is same as the new release LOVEYAPA but while this 2016 film has seen outstanding collections, LOVEYAPA  sees no collections and that's the box office for you.

SANAM TERI KASAM released in February 2016 and had opened at a little over 1 crore nett at that time and finished at 8 crore nett lifetime. The film had super hit music but could not make a mark at the box office. But obviously it has held value with a certain audience and this is reflected in the collections of this film in its re run.

The shows of the film have been increased on day two and there should be some upward momentum though maybe not like other repeat run films as the first day itself has seen outstanding collections. The film is no doubt the box office winner this week.

There were other films like PADMAAVAT and BAREILLY KI BARFI that had re runs. However, they had no collections with PADMAAVAT slightly better though collections will be just around the 5 lakhs nett range.
