CHHAAVA recorded a phenomenal second Friday as collections went to 23 crore nett which was a solid jump from the previous day. The advances were pretty much insane for the weekend even before the weekend started which means it is certain for huge growth on Saturday and Sunday. The film continues its record breaking run in Maharashtra and other circuits also made good gains on the second Friday. In fact, the jump was more in other places compared to Maharashtra.

The film is finding political support from the ruling party with major players including the Prime Minister supporting the film; as seen before, it does push the awareness of the film and finds a audience which may not have watched otherwise. The total collections of the film are now 228 crore nett and although the second Friday is not the highest ever, it is likely the film will now be challenging PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE's daily records from here on.

The film has a wave going for it in terms of sentiment with the Hindu audience and while midweek it looked like it was targeting a 400 crore nett pluss number, now it could even be 500 crore nett plus and more. If next week the trend is like this, then it can even be challenging for the title of the highest original Hindi film. The collections on Saturday and Sunday can be the highest collections ever seen for a second Saturday and Sunday.
