PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE (Hindi) had good collections in its sixth week as it collected 6.50 crore nett which takes the film to a six week total of 732.50 crore nett. The film saw a drop of 64% in week six and this despite was the aid of holidays on various days over the week. The film again should be boosted by Cinema Lovers Day on its seventh Friday and its likely to get the best boost of all films running as appreciation is huge.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE will get this weekend in but then it will be practically the end of its run with collections at low levels on Monday. But what a run it has been with every record broken from the first weekend till the fourth week. The lifetime is now looking in the 737-738 crore nett region with a 6% contribution from South India as compared to the normal which on average is in the 10-12% range though more for films with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. 

The sixth week collections are the fifth highest ever and there is JAWAN and PATHAAN above it but films that trended better like GADAR 2 and ANIMAL are not there. So, for the big openers, it becomes more about the competition around. STREE 2 leads by a margin in week six mainly due to no other releases and a Cinema Lovers Day boost. The Hindi version of the film has also collected over 1000 crore worldwide and will finish at around 1025 crore which is the second highest total ever for a film in Hindi after JAWAN.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE (Hindi) collected 55 lakhs nett on its seventh Friday which is a good collection for the seventh Friday but considering it was Cinema Lovers Day, the jump was not really there from the Thursday. It has been seen before that Cinema Lovers Day really boosts collections with films like JAWAN and STREE 2 but this time, it was not to be.

A 10% improvement in collections is hardly anything and it could be that when Cinema Lovers Day started, it was a novelty but now it is getting frequent which takes away the novelty. Also the film already has around 4 crore admits. Hence, maybe it has pretty much exhausted its audience. It will be Saturday numbers that will tell what was the boost for the film on Cinema Lovers Day.

The collections stand at 733 crore nett now and with this Cinema Lovers Day not giving it the required boost, it is certain to stay under 740 crore nett. Not that it matters much as this record is looking to hang around for sometime unless some other film really catches the fancy of the core Hindi circuits but there does not seem anything on the floors with the PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE2 type of mass appeal.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE jumped 40% on Saturday as it collected around 75 lakhs nett and the film took its overall collections to almost 734 crore nett. It again proved that Cinema Lovers Day hardly pushed the films as this trend was not there with JAWAN and STREE 2 post Cinema Lovers Day as they benefited hugely from the cheap ticket offer.
