The Kapoor family flew down to New Delhi on Tuesday to meet PM Narendra Modi to mark late actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s birth centenary. They also discussed the film festival being held in his honour.

In a video shared on the PM’s official YouTube channel, actor Ranbir Kapoor revealed that though they all felt anxious before their audience with PM Modi, the light-hearted exchange with the PM helped them break the ice: “Unhone bahut hi friendly nature se humse baat ki. Toh I think jo humare andar jo nervousness thi, hum sab ki hawa tight thi, lekin he was very good. He made us all feel very comfortable. And I really thank him.”

The 42-year-old further reflected on their interaction, saying, “Jab humari unke saath sit down, jaise gupchup hui, toh bahut maza aaya kyon ki humne unse bahut saare personal sawals bhi pooche.”

Besides Ranbir, actors Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt were present, among others.
