Tamannaah Bhatia has confessed that the song Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 helped her accept her body. “I grew up on the idea of unrealistic beauty standards. In movies, I would put a lot of pressure on myself to look a certain way,” the actor said.

“Times that I actually started to feel good about myself had rarely anything to do with how thin I was. I somewhere feel like maybe Aaj Ki Raat helped me accept my body,” the 34-year-old told Instant Bollywood.

Bhatia also revealed being fat-shamed after Kaavaalaa (Jailer, 2023) came out. She shared, “One lady walked up to me at a party and she was like, ‘Thank you, you know because of you we as curvy women feel like accepted. You were so big and, fat and yet you were enjoying.’ For the first time, I registered that according to this lady, I was fat. I didn’t completely understand that till I heard it from a person.”
