As A P Dhillon accuses Diljit Dosanjh of blocking him on Insta, the latter denies, saying his issue could be with governments, but not artistes
HINDUSTAN TIMES (December 23, 2024)

The public spat of words between musicians Diljit Dosanjh and A P Dhillon reached new heights on Sunday. It all started when Dosanjh, during his concert in Indore (Madhya Pradesh), gave a shout-out to singer Karan Aujla and Dhillon as they are currently touring India.

On Saturday (December 21), during his Chandigarh gig, Dhillon spoke about Dosanjh’s shout-out and said in Punjabi, “I just want to say one small thing, brother. First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me. I don’t want to talk about the marketing that’s happening, but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in any controversy?”

In response to this, Dosanjh took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday night and shared a screenshot of Dhillon’s Instagram page, in which his posts were visible. It implied his profile wasn’t blocked. He wrote, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa.... kalaakaran naal ni (My issues could be with the government… not with the artistes).”

But Dhillon later shared a ‘before’ and ‘after’ screen recording of Dosanjh’s profile, which made it seem that while Dosanjh’s posts weren’t visible before, they were afterwards, hinting maybe he was unblocked later. He even wrote a cryptic post, which seemed like a dig at Dosanjh, “I wasn’t planning on saying shit, knowing everyone will hate on me anyways but at least we know what’s real and what’s not.”
