BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had a good second week with collections of over 56 crore nett which takes the collections of the film to 208 crore nett. The holiday period finished on Sunday and the film has held on pretty well on the weekdays and got a boost on Thursday in the North and a few other cities due to a holiday on Friday for Guru Nanak Jayanti.

The film is a SUPER HIT film and its mainly about where it will finish and can it go ahead of SINGHAM AGAIN which will be around 5 crore nett ahead after two weeks. Diwali has worked in its favour as the expectations were less and it will get the numbers it needed while the bigger film SINGHAM AGAIN will not meet the expectations.

The film has the highest number ever for a comedy genre film now and will push the benchmark for this genre from 205 crore nett to over 225 crore nett. It also continues the trend of this genre tending to score on Diwali better than other genres but this is probably more to do with the quality of the other genre films coming on Diwali. If a GADAR or BAAHUBALI comes on Diwali, its pretty certain they will multiply the numbers of these comedy films.

The film now stands at almost 75 crore nett in Mumbai circuit which is a huge number considering the last film only got 55 crore nett but this area has that huge Diwali push. The Delhi/UP numbers are around 42 crore nett and it is yet to reach the mark of previous film in the franchise but should do so eventually.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 showed a good hold in its third weekend as it collected 14.50 crore nett which is a drop of 60% from the last weekend. The film now stands at 223 crore nett and has an outside chance of 250 crore nett depending on the business over the next two week.

The film did not show much growth on Saturday as it was a partial holiday on Friday and collections in Delhi/UP and East Punjab were flat on Saturday but the film was solid on Sunday. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 pretty much remained unaffected by the new releases and remained first choice among the releases out there.

The film now has higher totals than SINGHAM AGAIN in all the circuits apart from Mumbai, Nizam / Andhra and TNK and in Nizam/Andhra, it should go ahead by the end of the week though in the other two it will remain behind. Even in circuits like Bihar and Odisha, BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is now comfortably ahead. In fact in Bihar, there is a 1 crore nett gap now in favour of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and this a mass action circuit.
