BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had a rock steady fifth weekend aided by Cinema Lovers Day on Friday. The film collected almost 6 crore nett which takes the collections of the film to almost 248 crore nett. The drop this weekend is only 20% compared to the last weekend. The film is looking to close at 250 crore nett.

SINGHAM AGAIN was also steady in its fifth weekend for the same reasons as BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3. SINGHAM AGAIN collected a little over 4 crore nett and stands at 238.50 crore nett. The drop here is not even 10% from the last weekend. The film is looking at a close of 240 crore nett.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 did well in its fourth week as it collected 10 crore nett apprx taking its four week total to 242 crore nett. The drop in the fourth week was a litter under 55% which is also a good trend.

The film now has Cinema Lovers Day coming on the fifth Friday which will give it a boost. If the jump comes out like it has been with some other films on cinema day be it it STREE 2 or JAWAN, then there is still a chance of the film reaching 250 crore nett. It will have six days to get there as PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE comes on Thursday and it will not collect thereafter.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 stands at 85 crore nett in Mumbi circuit and 50 crore nett in Delhi/UP. It will be Mumbai and West Bengal coming out best with the former due to Diwali and the latter due to the regional feel. West Bengal will eventually do 15 crore nett and its a circuit where comedies struggle.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected Rs. 2 crore nett on Cinema Lovers Day and it takes its total to over 243.50 crore nett which gives the film a shot at a 250 crore nett finish as the film can collect another 6 crore nett over the next five days or so. If the film does not drop today, it is practically certain the film should end up with closing collections of 250 crore nett.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected a good 7 crore nett plus in its forth weekend which now takes the film to 238 crore nett and it will be 240 crore nett plus after the fourth week. The hold is good in the fourth weekend and week on week its looking like a drop which will be under 60%.

The film is likely to finish around the 245 crore nett as there will be hardly any collections after the fifth week with the release of much awaited PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 has collected a huge 84 crore nett in Mumbai circuit which would have been impossible outside Diwali. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had collected 55 crore nett.

The collections in Delhi/UP are less as it will hit 50 crore nett at the end of week four and here BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had done business of 46 crore nett which is not much less. These collections from the biggest circuits show how important the Diwali release was even with a clash.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had a good third week collecting almost 22 crore nett which takes the total collections of the film to 230 crore nett plus. In the third week, the film has seen a drop of a little over 60% which is a good trend.

The film had opened around 7 crore nett less than SINGHAM AGAIN on day one and is now around 4 crore nett ahead. This gap is likely to widen over the coming 10 days or so. The 250 crore nett mark looks hard for the film as it only has two weeks more but it will be able to finish at 245 crore nett.

This would put the film among the top 20 of all time taking original Hindi films only into account. The film is likely to finish with similar business to URI. But footfalls are more than 50 lakh less than the Vicky Kaushal starrer as that was in 2019 when ticket pricing was lower.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 maintained well enough on its fourth Friday with collections in the 1.35 crore nett range and the film now stands at 231.50 crore nett. The film has held well from the previous day and it should have another healthy week.

The film is a SUPER HIT and a SOLO Diwali release could have made it go one notch higher to BLOCKBUSTER as it could have got 300 crore nett. But on the other side, if the film released SOLO outside Diwali week, then the number it is going to get may have been tough to achieve.

Diwali in 2024 has turned out be pretty good with both films looking to collect around 475 crore nett between which has never been collected before on Diwali. These numbers can actually be called good but there is feeding involved (corporate booking as per industry/media). So, the numbers are inflated and its the case for both films. This feeding is never as much the industry thinks but generally in the industry things get multiplied which sort of leaves a stigma on all the films which have gone this way and the list has many films post pandemic.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is the winner of the clash as at the end, its going to be doing more business in India and its a far smaller film than SINGHAM AGAIN. The profits are huge with the film being 100 crore in the plus for the makers. The Diwali factor has worked well for the film in a clash and its probably the right decision to come on Diwali even with a clash as when you go through how the film has performed in the circuits, its UNLIKELY the number would have been higher outside Diwali on a solo date. No doubt if it was a solo date on Diwali, then the business would have been better.

Eventually the film is the second biggest HIT from the Hindi film industry so far this year and that is a very good result but the film is not as big as HIT as the previous installment which released in 2022 and also appreciation is not at the level of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2.

SINGHAM AGAIN has suffered due to the clash but again if this film came on a solo date outside Diwali, it is practically certain the film would not be doing the number it has with this clash on Diwali. The Mumbai circuit number spells this out load and clear. SINGHAM AGAIN needed a solo Diwali which would have allowed it do what it needed theatrically. The clash has meant moderate business and with this huge budget, the film is going to be in the red even after revenue for all sources.  

The big action film today needs the main character to be more front footed and testosterone heavy in terms of aggression (GADAR 2 and ANIMAL being prime examples) to really penetrate into the mass centres and here it looks the opposite as Bajirao Singham goes more subtle. This is all fine in reality as the character is ageing but reality holds little importance as far as masses are concerned. An aggressive Ajay Devgn in the film may not have added 100 crore nett to make the film a big HIT as other flaws would have been there but it would surely have comfortably finished above BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected 1.85 crore nett on its third Monday which is a drop from Friday but those Friday collections were inflated due to a partial holiday. This was also why the growth did not come on Saturday and if we take the drop from Sunday, it is more normal.

The total collections of the film now stand at around 225 crore nett and its looking like a third of 21 crore nett. Now its about whether the film can add another 20 crore nett to get to 250 crore nett. That will be the best case scenario for the film which is more than good enough.

The film now has higher totals than SINGHAM AGAIN in all the circuits apart from Mumbai, Nizam/Andhra and TNK and in Nizam/Andhra it should go ahead by the end of the week though in the other two it will remain behind. Even in circuits like Bihar and Odisha BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is now comfortably ahead. In fact, in Bihar, there is a 1 crore nett gap now in favour of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and this a mass action circuit.

The Diwali releases continue to dominate the box office despite a few new releases. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected a good 4.25 crore nett which is a little up on the Thursday and now the total of the film stands at 212 crore nett and it is set for another very good week.

The film was boosted a little in North due to Guru Nanak Jayanti as both Delhi NCR and East Punjab showed good gains from the Thursday and this was basically why the film went up on Friday. The growth will be less also in these two circuits on Saturday but Mumbai and the rest will show a good jump. So, overall there should be a solid growth. The film now has a shot at 250 crore nett lifetime business as its an open period till the release of PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE.

SINGHAM AGAIN collected 3 crore nett apprx on its third Friday which is similar to the Thursday and this film also benefitted in NCR and Punjab but the ratio is less than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 in these parts. The total collections of SINGHAM AGAIN are now 215 crore nett and even here there is an outside chance of 250 crore nett though it will be harder than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 as that film has a better trend.

There is a chance now that it may well turn out to be a 500 crore Diwali and if not its going to very close. This is good news for the industry as Diwali has never been this big in the recent past and on topm both films had reports which cant be called good but still these numbers have come. Obviously, the franchise factor has to a lot to do with it which will mean even more franchise films in the near future.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had a good second week with collections of over 56 crore nett which takes the collections of the film to 208 crore nett. The holiday period finished on Sunday and the film has held on pretty well on the weekdays and got a boost on Thursday in the North and a few other cities due to a holiday on Friday for Guru Nanak Jayanti.

The film is a SUPER HIT film and its mainly about where it will finish and can it go ahead of SINGHAM AGAIN which will be around 5 crore nett ahead after two weeks. Diwali has worked in its favour as the expectations were less and it will get the numbers it needed while the bigger film SINGHAM AGAIN will not meet the expectations.

The film has the highest number ever for a comedy genre film now and will push the benchmark for this genre from 205 crore nett to over 225 crore nett. It also continues the trend of this genre tending to score on Diwali better than other genres but this is probably more to do with the quality of the other genre films coming on Diwali. If a GADAR or BAAHUBALI comes on Diwali, its pretty certain they will multiply the numbers of these comedy films.

The film now stands at almost 75 crore nett in Mumbai circuit which is a huge number considering the last film only got 55 crore nett but this area has that huge Diwali push. The Delhi/UP numbers are around 42 crore nett and it is yet to reach the mark of previous film in the franchise but should do so eventually.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 showed a good hold in its third weekend as it collected 14.50 crore nett which is a drop of 60% from the last weekend. The film now stands at 223 crore nett and has an outside chance of 250 crore nett depending on the business over the next two week.

The film did not show much growth on Saturday as it was a partial holiday on Friday and collections in Delhi/UP and East Punjab were flat on Saturday but the film was solid on Sunday. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 pretty much remained unaffected by the new releases and remained first choice among the releases out there.

The film now has higher totals than SINGHAM AGAIN in all the circuits apart from Mumbai, Nizam / Andhra and TNK and in Nizam/Andhra, it should go ahead by the end of the week though in the other two it will remain behind. SINGHAM AGAIN is likely to remain ahead of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 in terms of worldwide business due to a healthy advantage in overseas. There is an 16 crore gap between the two films in terms of worldwide collections and although BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 will cut into this lead with its India business, the gap in Overseas will not see much of a gain for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is a little better in UK and Australia while SINGHAM AGAIN has a slight edge in US/Canada. But the main gap is in Gulf where SINGHAM AGAIN will stand at $2.50 million in two weeks while BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is around $700k less and that is basically the gap in Overseas business. SINGHAM AGAIN should finish its run in the $9.5-10 million range while BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 will be $8.5-9 million.

Despite the under performance, SINGHAM AGAIN is looking to be highest Ajay Devgn grosser worldwide beating TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR. That film collected 358 crore worldwide while SINGHAM AGAIN will go above 365 crore and maybe even reach 375 crore on a best case scenario.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 collected over 4 crore nett on its second Tuesday to take its overall collection to 200 crore nett. There is a 15% drop on Tuesday but collections remain at a good level. The second week will collect a very good 55 crore nett plus coming after a huge 151 crore nett first week.

The film is now ahead of SINGHAM AGAIN practically everywhere with even Mumbai city and Pune showing better collections. It is only Gujarat which remains behind and by a healthy margin. Hence, here the film is unlikely to go ahead.

The film is on the verge of crossing last year's Diwali release TIGER 3 in West Bengal and should do so by the end of the week. The film then should go on to challenge huge grossers like SANJU and GADAR 2 in this circuit. This is the best performing circuit for the film due to the local setting of film and Bengali characters in the film. Comedy films have a history of under performing in Bengal but its different here due to the local setting and characters.

The next best is probably CI where the film could end up with 10 crore nett or close and here it will be among the top fifteen films ever. Films of Kartik Aaryan tend out to outperform here especially in the three main centres of Indore, Bhopal and Gwalior.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 has managed to hold on well on its second Monday with collections in the 4.75-5 crore nett range. The drop is 45% from the Friday which is more than holdovers on the second Monday. But here, the holiday factor was still in play on Friday and after a huge holiday week, the drop could have been more as its back to normal for schools and offices across the country.

This 4.75 crore nett plus total on Monday is a good result for the film and the film now seems to be heading for a second week of over 55 crore net. The week on week drop is going to be a little over 60% and that is very good coming out off a huge holiday in the first week. The reports of the film were mixed but now, with with this sort of collection on second Monday, its clear that there is acceptance of the film with audience. The film has collections of 196 crore nett and should hit the 200 crore nett mark today (Day 12).

This Friday will see competition with a few releases including films from South and Hollywood as well as a Hindi release THE SABARMATI REPORT. Neither of these films are huge openers put together and also SINGHAM AGAIN holdover means that holding Thursday collections on Friday is pretty impossible. If it was an open week the collections on Friday could even go up which then can give the film a shot a 250 crore nett. However, due to competition, it will probably have to settle for less.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 grossed 231.75 crore apprx worldwide in its first week which is a very good number with Overseas surpassing BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 in the first week itself. The worldwide numbers are only 30 crore short of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 which will be covered in the second weekend itself. The target is probably a 350 crore worldwide finish for the film.

SINGHAAM AGAIN grossed 250.50 crore worldwide which is decent and here its also probably a finish of 350 crore worldwide roughly as well. The film did well enough in Gulf and United Kingdom despite having Ramayan theme which would keep the Muslim audience away. These two circuits have a heavy Muslim audience as far as Hindi films go. The gaps between the two films are pretty similar in India and Overseas.

Overseas -  54.75 crore ($6.5 million)

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had a huge Monday as it collected 17.50 crore nett which is less than 50% drop from the first day which was practically a national holiday though Monday is also working like a holiday in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Still, its a huge number for the film on Monday which takes the total of the film to 117.50 crore nett.

The Monday number for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 ensures that the film is a HIT at least and could go on to a higher verdict depending on how it fares in the next two weeks. As is the case on Diwali, Mumbai circuit is boosting the film and hence, there will be drops to come. Yet, the film seems to be heading for a first week which should close at around the 150 crore nett mark.

The drops are there in circuits like East Punjab and West Bengal which are basically totally out of the festive period and still, the collections remain solid if we take it as a normal working Monday and also drops here look more as day one was like a national holiday. The film is sure to cross the numbers of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 which is always the first target and as you are clashing it is always not so easy especially when the other film is a huge mega budget film.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and SINGHAM AGAIN collected similar totals in Overseas with the latter coming out with a bigger total and slightly higher collections mainly due to better business in the Gulf area. The business of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is around $4.3-4.4 million which is INR 36.50 crore and the total for SINGHAM AGAIN will be $4.8-4.9 million which is INR 40.50 crore.

Both films have done well as both films won't have huge audience in Overseas but the collections of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 come out more impressive as its a smaller film. The worldwide numbers for SINGHAM AGAIN are 175.50 crore for the weekend while BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 is 157 crore. Again the numbers are impressive but it all depends on where they go on from here. A $10 million total for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 would be very good and for SINGHAM AGAIN it would be decent as well though it probably has to do near $15 million to be good.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 recorded an excellent first weekend of 100 crore nett with Sunday being the lowest day which was always on the card. But the Sunday trend is also pretty good as the drop on Sunday is under 10% helped with limited drops in Mumbai circuit. Even North is good as post Diwali, it does drop more and here BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 has held much better than SINGHAM AGAIN.

The film was better than SINGHAM AGAIN on Sunday in Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan, CI, Mysore, West Bengal and Assam while on day one it was better only in East Punjab and West Bengal. The 100 crore nett number is simply huge for the first weekend as its not a huge budget or cast. The franchise value is such that it has easily managed to compete with a film like SINGHAM AGAIN and is practically a HIT film already. That confirmation should come on Monday as it should hold well enough.

The best performance for the film is probably Delhi/UP, West Bengal and CI and the huge plus is Mumbai circuit as on a normal day release, the collections could have been less. But because of Diwali, it has come out with excellent collections even though SINGHAM AGAIN is there. The Diwali release decision has been proved right for this film as despite the clash, it has done more business than it needed to do while that is not the case for SINGHAM AGAIN.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 and SINGHAM AGAIN have done pretty much similar business on day one with the latter being 20% ahead which is pretty much the same as India. The collections are pretty much similar across all the main markets with just a little difference in Gulf in the favour of SINGHAM AGAIN. The surprise is United Kingdom where BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 has better collections by around £15k.

The Overseas collections were $1.5 million (INR 12.50 crore) for SINGHAM AGAIN and $1.25 million (10.50 crore) for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 on the opening day. The collections for SINGHAM AGAIN are decent while they are very good for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3. SINGHAM AGAIN had a big cast including female stars like Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone who are bonafide stars in Overseas but in this zone, the value could be limited as the film driven by others.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 getting over a $1 million is a great result and the film should do well from from here in Overseas as well as it could trend better than SINGHAM AGAIN especially if India can go on a good run.

The difference between the films was mainly $125k in Gulf and around $100k coming from SINGHAM AGAIN with a bigger release. In US/Canada, Australia and United Kingdom, both films contributed almost ditto totals in all three circuits.

The opening day worldwide figures are 58.50 crore for SINGHAM AGAIN and 50 crore for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 recorded an extraordinary first day as it picked up 32.50-33 crore nett with fantastic collections as the film matched and beat SINGHAM AGAIN in many circuits. More than that. this first day number practically makes the film a HIT. Its basically done far above its expectations especially in a clash.

The day has worked out to be practically like a national holiday which has obviously boosted collections especially in Mumbai circuit which looks outright like the big Diwali holiday. The film collected less than SINGHAM AGAIN in Mumbai circuit but was still a phenomenal 10 crore nett which is a crazy number.

The best performance for the film came in West Bengal where it beat SINGHAM AGAIN by 50 lakhs nett followed by East Punjab where it beat by around 25 lakhs nett. In Delhi/UP, the collections are almost the same with a slight edge to SINGHAM AGAIN. But overall. North India is the same which is huge for BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3, considering that SINGHAM AGAIN is a huge budget and big cast film.

North India may hold steady on day two as it is said that some areas in these parts had Diwali Puja on Friday which means collections were affected and Saturday should be strong. The best sustainment will come in North India on Saturday. The film is set for a huge weekend and considering the budget of the film and it clashed with a huge film, its going to come out with a phenomenal result for the first weekend.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 3 had another fantastic day as collections managed to go up a little from an extraordinary opening day collections. The film is getting advantage of the Diwali holiday being over two days and collections are at very high levels with strong occupancy.

The film collected 34.75 crore nett on its second day adding to the 33.25 crore nett on the first day to give the film a huge 68 crore nett over the first two days. The film will probably fall short of 100 crore nett for the weekend as Sunday will see some sort of drop due to the first two days coming out like big holidays. No doubt the collections will be close to 100 crore nett and that is an excellent number for this film and it looks even better due to the clash with SINGHAM AGAIN.

The film looks on course to emerge a HIT but despite the big numbers over the first two days, the film still needs some sort of hold on Monday to confirm the HIT status of the film. The film led SINGHAM AGAIN in East Punjab and West Bengal on Friday and it has added CI on to the list on Saturday which is an outright mass circuit
