Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s recent appearance at the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai has sparked fresh speculations about her relationship with actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan. At the event, she was introduced simply as Aishwarya Rai, with no mention of “Bachchan” on the stage graphic. Fans quickly noted this, given ongoing rumours of her separation from Abhishek. While some fans supported her, others argued it could have been an oversight by the organisers, noting she still uses “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan” on her Instagram.
In contrast, Abhishek recently praised Aishwarya in an interview with The Hindu, calling her a supportive and sacrificing mother. “I’m grateful to Aishwarya for being home with Aaradhya, allowing me to focus on work.”
At the forum, Aishwarya delivered a speech on women’s empowerment, saying, “This summit is a shining example of what can be achieved when voices from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared purpose to inspire change, foster equality, and create opportunities for women worldwide.”
RUMOURS OF SEPARATION
Aishwarya and Abhishek, who have been married since April 2007, have faced separation rumours for months this year. Speculations grew when Aishwarya and daughter Aaradhya arrived separately at businesspersons Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding earlier this year, while the rest of the Bachchan family arrived later. Adding to the tension, the family did not publicly wish Aishwarya on her birthday (Nov 1) or Aaradhya on her’s (Nov 13), and Abhishek was not present in the photos Aishwarya shared of Aaradhya’s birthday celebrations. The couple have maintained their silence on this matter.
