Putting an end to all speculations about actor Salman Khan’s cameo in Singham Again, the film’s team has confirmed that he will enter filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s cop universe with his popular character Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg franchise.

Earlier, there were speculations that Khan might not shoot his cameo in the wake of the Nationalist Congress Party leader, Baba Siddique’s recent murder and the ongoing death threats against the actor by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. However, the Singham Again team confirmed the news and said, “Yes, he (Khan) is a part of the film and is shooting.”

A press note from the film’s PR team reads: “This mind-boggling collaboration of Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey adds an exciting turn in the film and marks his entry to India’s first cinematic cop universe of Rohit Shetty. This unexpected crossover not only brings these two iconic characters together on screen for the first time, but also promises to bring an electrifying dynamic to the Singham franchise. Fans can look forward to the high-octane thrills as Salman portrays Chulbul Pandey, while Ajay Devgn returns as the fearless Bajirao Singham.”

Singham Again will also feature actors Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, and newer additions like actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Jackie Shroff. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor in a negative role.
