DEVARA - PART 1 is looking at a finish of 265 crore nett with the Hindi version closing at around 59 crore nett. The performance of the film is very good in Nizam/Andhra as it will become the fifth biggest film in that circuit after RRR, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION, KALKI 2898 AD and SALAAR but the film has not been able to break out.
Karnataka is good but the other South areas are not good and more importantly, its the Hindi version with its so so business meaning it cant compete with similar films. KALKI 2898 AD is at a different level anyway with 615 crore nett and hence, its not comparable. However, the film will also fall short of SAAHO (2019) which was lesser in Nizam/Andhra and yet collected 300 crore nett at an all India level. DEVARA - PART 1 will be looking at a 265 crore nett finish.
The film has grossed around $8 million overseas which gives the film a worldwide number of around 380 crore which is well short of the 1000 crore of KALKI 2898 AD and also short of the 400 crore plus of SAAHO. It is also less than the Tamil film released a couple a month back, THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME, which did around 440 crore worldwide thanks to a huge $18.50 million overseas. The India business was less than DEVARA - PART 1 as generally the Andhra market is bigger than Tamil Nadu.
The all India collections DEVARA - PART 1 are as follows.
